Can I afford a personal chef?
Yes, you can! Just add up all the time spent planning, shopping, preparing and cleaning up and you will realize that WHISK! Personal Chef Service is going to save you a lot of valuable time. Factor in the cost benefit of not throwing out the foods that you never quite got around to cooking and eating. And the money you will save by not frequenting local restaurants for take-out because you were just too tired to cook. Replace those greasy, calorie-filled foods with delicious and nutritious home-cooked meals made right in your kitchen and you will realize that a personal chef is quite affordable.


What is the difference between a private chef and a personal chef?
A personal chef is someone who has a passion for cooking and brings that love to your home and your dinner table. A personal chef is not a private chef. Private chefs usually cook for one family and prepare meals daily and as needed. A personal chef will generally have more than one client, often one per day, and prepares and packages multiple meals in the client’s home.


I’m on a specific diet. Can you accommodate it?
Absolutely! The beauty of WHISK! Personal Chef Service is having all meals tailored to your specific needs and tastes. I am more than happy to personalize your meals with low-carb, low-sodium, calorie-controlled or low-fat items. Pretty much whatever guidelines you are following, I can do!


What if my kitchen doesn’t have what you need?
Not a problem. At our initial consultation, I will conduct a “kitchen interview” to see what equipment, pots, pans and utensils you have. Whatever you do not have I will bring with me. We can also discuss purchasing basic kitchen items if you wish. I often recommend to clients that before beginning they purchase or have me purchase (at cost) a set of lidded glass containers (such as Pyrex) that can go easily from freezer to refrigerator to oven/microwave.
